BREEDERS NOTES

At the pinnacle of his illustrious career Louis D’or qualified for the Junior European Championships representing Ireland in 2019 with his young rider Seamus Hughes Kennedy. This partnership enjoyed a whirlwind success despite being a relatively new combination together. Competing all over Europe with success in some of the top international shows. At home in Ireland they could be seen taking  on the top adult riders in the Grand prix leagues of Ireland.  They were seldom out of  the top ten placings at 1.50 level. Tragically Louis d’or died just before the European Championships to colic. Though gone, he will never be forgotten. He touched many hearts along the way.
